Lest you think all I do is stare at and photograph V all day, I wanted to share a new project that I've been working on, that is almost ready for launch...Last year, the ladies of Design Glut invited us to a laser cutting party, and we designed these little guys for the party. They are plant markers, or little friends for your plants. There are a bunch of different designs - a gnome, flamingo, wheelbarrow, tombstone, a spade...and some other gardening friends! I'm finishing up the packaging and hope to add them to our shop soon.
It has been tricky finding a balance between taking care of V and working. I still haven't really found it - I feel like I'm doing everything at 80% capacity. I work mostly while V is sleeping, which for now is a fair amount - I'm not sure how it's going to work as she spends more and more time awake. Any pro-mama work tips would be much appreciated! I've been flirting with the idea of getting an intern, but being that we live and work out of our studio, it will probably be hard to find an intern that doesn't mind working along side a pooping, mostly-cheerful, often hungry baby, right?
