Tremors

Last Friday I was putting V down to sleep and she was fussing in her crib, when her arms and legs started to shake. This seemed to make her cry harder and kind of freaked me out, so I picked her up and held her for a while. The tremors stopped, and I decided to nurse her to help to calm her down some more. She nursed for a while and then pulled off and started crying and shaking again. She'd never done this before, so I called her pediatrician and explained what was happening, and they asked us to come in so that they could check her out. We made the 45 minute trek into Manhattan, and the doctor took a look at her, and this was the diagnosis:

Aha. Ahahahaha. Not funny, V (Well, okay, maybe a little.). She hasn't done it since, so I'm hoping that it really was just a tantrum, and not something more sinister...

  1. Ooh I hear that's an incurable condition. Better watch out.
