Press: Brevity jewelry in Nylon Magazine

I am beyond excited that brevity was featured in the August 2009 issue of Nylon. I was finally able to get my hands on the issue yesterday and was super stoked by the write up (page 84, if you're looking!). Thank you, Shruti!

"Minimal, geometric, and pretty" is how architect-turned-designer Anna Corpron describes her two-year-old jewelry line, brevity. Her pieces - like a stainless-steel hexagonal chain that resembles a honeycomb laid flat - delicately combine the industrial with the natural. Corpron's background informs this aesthetic: She went to boarding school in the Himalayas in India, surrounded by flora, before moving on to work at an architecture firm in concrete-and-glass-filled Manhattan. Pick up one of her stencil-like designs for a dose of modern tranquility.

Brevity at Vitamin D(esign)

I'm very excited to announce that my Brevity line is being sold at Vitamin D(esign). My honeycomb necklace has sold out already, so I'm going to be sending Jaime a new batch of necklaces at the end of the week.

I really need to get a proper Brevity store up and running. I've been holding off making business cards because I don't have a home for my work yet. Time to add a website to my list of tasks...

Supermarket

Sean and I were approached by Supermarket (essentially a curated Etsy) to sell our Sub-Studio wares through them. We set up shop, and I also set up a shop for my jewelry line, Brevity, and have been so pleased with the response. I've sold more than I imagined I would (thanks to all you boys buying Christmas gifts for your ladies!) and am now out or almost out of a few designs (like Cellular, above). Which is good, because I have a few new designs in mind and if I have to make another laser cutting run, I might as well have new work to show for it!
