Those shoes!

I spent a large chunk of my childhood at a boarding school in northern India, and two of my best friends were Bhutanese. The King of Bhutan got married last week, and since then my facebook feed has been filled with pictures of the ceremony and of the pair. I've always thought that the kera, the women's national dress, was beautiful, but Queen Jetsun Pema's wedding kera is so gorgeous (and is she not just so beautiful?). I love that her shoes are as crazily patterned and detailed as her dress.

PS - I don't know who took this photo - I found it here.

Easy Keeper Animal Pillows

Kind of sweet, kind of creepy pillows by Easy Keeper. Each animal is printed on organic cotton, stuffed with 100% natural cotton filling, and has a solid natural-colored muslin backside.

Pair Tees

I'm so excited! We've been imagining these Pair Tees for ages, but my place (which is where we do all the printing) just isn't set up to do textile screening properly. We found someone who could print them for us, and got them back a few hours ago and I'm really happy with the way they turned out! The image isn't very good, but you get the idea - it's a t-shirt for mom and a t-shirt for baby. There are three designs for now: Emu, Jellyfish, and Echidna with plans for more on the way. We're going to photograph the designs properly this weekend and will be selling them at Renegade (and shortly after in our shop and on Etsy).
